About the event
Join Holy City Birding & U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for a morning Bird Walk at the Santee NWR!
We will explore this amazing refuge and the diverse birds that thrive here! The Bird Walk will explore the Wright's Bluff Trail and the open field habitat between Cantey Bay and Lake Marion. Partnering with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service we will have access to explore the Bluff Unit. **Note this Bird Walk will cover 3-4 miles on flat terrain.
*This Bird Walk has a participation limit and requires registration.
Meeting location: We will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 7:15am and then drive over to parking area near the Wright's Bluff Trail to begin the Bird Walk at 7:30am.
